Our Story

FADE II BLACK was founded in 2017 in Castle Rock, Colorado with a single focus: pairing 3M's industry-leading window films with certified, meticulous installation. From day one, we chose to be a 3M™ Authorized Dealer because 3M invented window film in 1966 and stands behind every install with a nationwide manufacturer's warranty — and that's the kind of guarantee we wanted to put behind our own name.

We started as a small automotive tint shop focused on precision computer-cut patterns and customer-first service. As word spread across the Denver metro, demand grew for the same quality of work on homes and businesses, so we expanded into residential and commercial film — from 3M's Prestige Series and Night Vision for homes to sun-control, Scotchshield™ safety, and Fasara™/DI-NOC™ architectural films for commercial clients.

Nearly a decade later, we're proud to have earned hundreds of 5-star reviews across Google and Yelp — 448 Google reviews at 4.8 stars and 56 Yelp reviews at 4.7 stars, for a combined 500+ reviews averaging 4.8 stars. Every one of those reviews represents a neighbor, a small business, or a family in our community.
